10.25.10 [KBS GLOBAL] Protagonist (Ji Woo) Attempts to Escape Prison

by jax625

The tension is building up in the KBS2 Wednesday-Thursday drama “The Fugitive: Plan B” as a protagonist is being set up as the one behind a mysterious murder case.

In the October 21 episode, Ji-woo (Rain), a private investigator hired by Ji-ni (Lee Na-young) to investigate who killed her parents, is caught by police as well as painted as Melgidec, the real murder suspect.

Trying to find a way out of prison, Ji-woo succeeds in obtaining a pen he can use to unlock the handcuffs on his wrist when a fellow investigator comes to find Do-soo (Lee Jung-jin), who is watching Ji-woo. But his attempt does not succeed.

While Ji-woo is trying to figure out the true identity of Kai, who Ji-ni loves and trusts and who is plotting to paint him as Melgidec, Ji-ni comes and hurls criticism at him, saying she hasn’t suspected at all that he could be Melgidec. The fabricated evidence proves it — Ji-woo wired money to the account of Kevin (Oh Ji-ho), his best friend who died in a mysterious fire, whenever Ji-ni’s people were killed. It means that Ji-woo is Melgidec, and that he asked Kevin to get rid of them.

When he hears this from Do-soo, Ji-woo denies his involvement, saying the account is not his and claiming that he knows who is behind this conspiracy. But that does not help prove his innocence, and he is to be transferred to prosecutors.

Before being handed over to prosecutors, Ji-woo calls Ji-ni and says firmly that the evidence is fabricated and she should not believe anything. And he once again tries to unlock the handcuffs with a straw he had hidden earlier.

Viewers said that the episode was the most exciting and thrilling so far.

10.20.10 [Star News] How the brain of Rain in ‘The Fugitive Plan B’ is organized, is released.

by jax625

How the brains of the stars in KBS 2TV’s drama ‘The Fugitive Plan B’ are organized, is released.

The brain structures recently released on the drama’s official website show that the mysterious death of ‘Ji Woo’s close friend ‘Kevin’ (O Ji Ho) occupies the middle of ‘Ji Woo’s brain (Rain)

‘Ji Woo’ (Rain) wept hot at Kevin’s sudden death, but ‘Ji Woo’ has been unjustly accused of the murder by the police.

In addition, each of three, “‘Eon Nyun’ (Lee Da Hae’s character’s name in drama Chuno, and she has played a cameo role in the first episode of The Fugitive Plan B’) who has broken up with ‘Ji Woo’ only because of 3 hundred millions KRW “, “The client who is worth about a hundred million KRW,” and ” I’m feeling a sort of taking the bait”, is a part of ‘Ji Woo’s brain.

10.04.10 [Dramabeans] Runaway (Plan B): Episodes 1&2 Re-Cap

by jax625

**please note, this post contains spoilers, so enter @ your own risk ^o^

source: http://www.dramabeans.com/2010/10/runaway-plan-b-episodes-1-2/

Runaway: Plan B premiered this past week to huge intro ratings, setting KBS up for yet another hit this year. (You may know the title as Fugitive: Plan B but don’t worry if you’re confused, since not even the drama’s official site is keeping things consistent.)

What we get here is a stylish action drama that is — let’s face it — pretty fluffy entertainment but executed well and with a cheeky attitude. It knows exactly what it is, and plays that to the hilt. The casting is spot-on and the action sequences are designed to achieve maximum cool effect.

Did I like it? Very much in parts, and not much at all in other parts. It’s complicated. We’ll get to that.

[10asiae] Rain’s “Fugitive” outruns competing dramas in a breeze

The first episode of KBS TV series “Fugitive: Plan B” starring Korean superstar Rain has proven the hype surrounding the drama ahead of its premiere may not be hollow expectation.

Statistics released by research firms TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) and AGB Nielsen Media Research on Thursday showed that the first episode of “Fugitive” yesterday posted viewership ratings of 21.7 percent and 20.7 percent, respectively, easily outscoring its competitors in the same Wednesday and Thursday primetime time slot.

SBS’ “My Girlfriend is Gumiho” lost steam last night ahead of its finale episode today with ratings of 18.6 percent on TnMS’ survey and 16.6 percent on AGB’s chart, and “Kiss” remained in the four percent-range on both polls.

Also, while a drama is considered to be a hit when it sees ratings in the 30-percent range and is dubbed to be of ‘national drama’ status beyond the 40 percent mark, it is rare for even the most popular shows to record ratings in the 20-percent range for its premiere episode.

To receive such high numbers for the first episode is very rare. Viewers had high expectations for ‘Fugitive’, as it boasts a star-studded cast with Rain, Lee Na Young, Lee Jung Jin, Daniel Henney, and many others. The hype was futher amplified when it was revealed that the drama was a collaborative effort between esteemed director Kwak Jung Hwan and screenwriter Chun Sung Il, who have teamed up once before in ‘Chuno‘.

During the broadcast, Chuno’s Lee Da Hae and Oh Ji Ho made cameo apperances, which made the episode more interesting.

Meanwhile, competing dramas, “My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox” and “Playful Kiss” pulled in ratings of 16.6% and 4.5% respectively.
