12.10.10 [KBS] Blockbuster ‘The Fugitive’ Comes to End

by jax625

The KBS2 blockbuster drama “The Fugitive: Plan B” has drawn its curtain with good triumphing over evil.
The show kept the tension high even in the 20th and last episode on December 8, as Yoon So-ran (Yun Jin-seo), a police investigator and girlfriend of fellow investigator Do-soo (Lee Jung-jin), was killed, and Ji-ni (Lee Na-young) and Ji-woo (Rain) saw the gold bullions they had barely acquired go missing again.

That seemed to leave no hope for the two to reveal the truth behind the gold theft and evil crimes by Yang Doo-hee (Song Jae-ho) and Yang Yeong-jun (Kim Eung-soo), who masterminded many murders, including that of Ji-ni’s parents, in order to lay their hands on the gold.

Kai (Daniel Henney), who once worked for Doo-hee, comes to help Ji-ni and Ji-woo and reveals the whole truth to the media. But Doo-hee and Yeong-jun deny their involvement and point the finger at a sniper they hired.

Getting away with the murder, Yeong-jun, a prominent politician, runs for the presidency successfully. But Ji-ni shows up at a campaign event he is holding and plays a recorded tape where he threatens Ji-ni about the gold in front of reporters present, and Ji-woo comes with the gold he found in Yeong-jun’ office. This leads to the arrest of Doo-hee, who kills himself later, and other accomplices.

Bringing all the evil to justice and confirming their love for each other, Ji-ni and Ji-woo leave in a car on their own.

12.09.10 [KBS] “The Fugitive: Plan B” HP – Plot summary of Ep.20

by jax625

The last episoe (the 20th) :: On Wednesday, December 8th, at 9:55pm.

‘Ji Woo’s operation to try to drag a confession out of ‘Yang Young Joon’ (Yang Du Hee’s son), is being waged dangerously as ‘Yang Young Joon’s side behaves more rudely than thought.

‘Ji Woo’ (Rain) proceeds as always planned and this represents a significant achievement in itself, but his approach causes another victim, so he is overcome with shame, thinking of ‘Jang Da Boo’s death.

While both ‘Howang Mi Jin’ (Yun Son Ha) and ‘Yang Young Joon’ start to avoid the difficult situation with going for plan B, even the god bars that are the only hope for the main characters (Ji Woo & Jinny), have disappeared.

The main characters refuse to help each other in an even more desperate situation and are greatly tormented.

11.28.10 [allkpop] “Fugitive” will not extend series

by jax625

The producers of KBS 2TV’s “Fugitive Plan B” dropped plans to extend the drama despite the requests from KBS.

A representative of “Fugitive” stated through a phone call with Newsen on November 27th, “KBS proposed that we should extend the show with about 4 more episodes.”

The representative continued, “However, we could not do so because some of the cast and staff members were not able to fit it into their schedules. We were also asked to extend the show by 2 episodes if 4 was impossible, but we had to give that up too.”

Currently, “Fugitive” has 3 episodes left. November 25th’s episode was postponed due to the broadcast of the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, causing a bit of disorganization for the drama. Rumors of an extra episode followed, but it turned out to be false.

11.26.10 [KBS] Ending Still Unclear in ‘The Fugitive’

by jax625

All eyes are on what will happen to gold bullions in the KBS2 Wednesday-Thursday drama “The Fugitive: Plan B” as it winds down to the ending.

In the 17h episode on November 24, Nakamura (Sung Dong-il), a teacher of private investigator Ji-woo (Rain), joins forces with Yang Doo-hee (Song Jae-ho), the boss of an evil organization behind the murder of the parents of Ji-ni (Lee Na-young), to get the gold in their hands.

Ji-woo captures the sniper whom Doo-hee has hired and extorts a confession from him that Doo-hee ordered him to kill him and Ji-ni and bring the gold. Recording his confession, Ji-woo sends it to Doo-hee.

Doo-hee, becoming anxious, seeks another way to find the gold and contacts Nakamura, who previously cooperated with Mi-jin (Yoon Sohn-ha), who worked for Doo-hee, to locate the whereabouts of the gold.

Doo-hee asks Nakamura to track Ji-woo down. Nakamura tells him he can do anything for money, and Doo-hee gives him a large sum of money for the task.

But knowing Nakamura just as well as Nakamura knows him, Ji-woo moves his base before Nakamura finds him, determined to face the challenge.

With Nakamura’s motives still in dark, there is no predicting the ending although the show has only three episodes left until the end.

11.22.10 [k-popped] Fugitive Plan B in City of Dreams, Macau

by jax625

by Liz@k-popped

Did you catch episode 7 of Rain’s Fugitive Plan B? What caught my attention while watching that particular episode was that it was filmed in Macau.

I could spot most of the places featured in the show because I had the opportunity to visit Macau in Oct 2010 .

ROMANCE: Jini (Lee Na-young, left) and Kai (Daniel Henney) go on a date near the ruins of St. Paul’s church

On top of that, I was also invited for a tour of City of Dreams (CoD), one of the newest integrated entertainment resorts in Macau. As things turned out, CoD is also a location sponsor for the drama.

11.15.10 [popseoul] The Controversy On Lee Jung-Jin’s Twitter

by jax625

Actor Lee Jung-jin,who portrays an foreign affairs investigator, in KBS 2TV’s “Fugitive Plan B” faced controversy after he retweeted two comments from fans.

The comments stated “The viewership ratings of ‘Fugitive Plan B’ rises because of Lee Jung Jin. So, Lee must stay alive in the show”. The comments also depreciated Rain and Daniel Henney’s contribution in the drama. As a result, Lee deleted the comments and responded

“You guys are right. But, everyone is being too sensitive. Now, the main focus of Rain and I is only the drama. We will not fight against the amount of exposure in the show. In fact, our teamwork is getting better from day to day”.

Also, he had hoped that fans of the different idols can respect each other.

There are only a few more episodes left before this drama comes to an end. Is there anyone interested in predicting the ending?
